The board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, has been cancelled due to no critical decisions pending. All projects (re-pipe plumbing, cabana pool demolition, and electrical room upgrades) are moving along as expected. Owners will be advised in advance if the April meeting dates (2nd and 4th Tuesday) will be held.

PLUMBING PROJECT: Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are completed. Building #8 (15148) work is in progress. Building #9 will start on Monday, March 30th, in the south end and move to the north end on April 6th. Bldg #10 will follow soon after. Hopefully, this project will be fully completed by late May.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT: We now have buildings 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 all upgraded. We will be finishing this project with buildings #8 on March 10th and #1 on March 24th. These dates will include power outages for all buildings starting at 8am. Power should be restored sometime in the afternoon with the exception of the specific building being upgraded, which will be later in the evening.

Canyon Estates is a Homeowner's association, not a rental apartment complex. We allow up to a maximum cap of 30% of our units to be rental authorized and they are then managed directly by the owner of those units. Buyers and agents be aware that the limit is met and we have a long waiting list of owners seeking rental authorization.

We suggest homeowners call the recommended CECA contractors listed below because they are most familiar with our buildings. If the problem found is later determined to be an association responsibility, you can submit a request for reimbursement to the board. Rental unit tenants should ALWAYS contact the unit's owner or managing agent first.
